Three Little Hobby Lobby Pills

Oh hello. I have this thing where I enjoy wearing random hats I find in stores. Yeah, I'm one of those people who wear ridiculous hats in public. This time around I became a sunflower while at Hobby Lobby. I seem to dress up in stores when I'm shopping with Mrs. Kathleen. I actually ran into someone exiting an aisle and then apologized in case I freaked them out - most people seem to think I'm nuts when I wear crazy hats...

Yesterday I had a business meeting. I work for my neighbors, who are also basically my second family. I've known them since I was two and I've known their sons since they were born. Thankfully I'm working for them because they understand all of my illnesses and are very relaxed with my schedule.

After our meeting Mrs. Kathleen and I went to Hobby Lobby (as you can tell by the photo). We spent our time there in the home decor sale area. I found a few things that I absolutely loved...but didn't actually want to buy - the sunflower hat included (sunflowers are my favorite).

In an aisle with frames I saw these three little Japanese girl figurines. In case you didn't know I'm a musical fanatic - I've been in six, worked on more than that, and have seen so many musicals I can't count. So, when I saw these three figurines I automatically picked them up, turned to Mrs. Kathleen, and started singing "Three little maids from school are we" from The Mikado. Yup, I'm ridiculous and totally not politically correct.

The last thing I found in Hobby Lobby was a giant blue pinwheel. Seriously, the wheel part was the size of my head. I wanted it so badly, but I didn't know what I would do with it. I controlled myself and bought nothing. Mrs. Kathleen got some lovely fake poinsettias to make a Christmas wreath (they were on major sale).

I think I finally figured out why I've been feeling so poorly over the past week or so. Since two years ago when my Crohn's was starting to be diagnosed I have taken pain medicine on and off. Over the last year I have been taken pain killers daily to control the pain I've had in my hip. The closer I got to my replacement surgery the more pain I was in. I had to work out daily to lose enough weight to get my surgery and I was in constant excruciating pain. Now that I'm finally in way less pain it's time to slowly step ween me off of pain killers. I had a major drop this Sunday from an extremely strong pain killer to a more common one. I believe I just feel like crap due to a little bit of withdrawing - oy. I take 15+ pills a day, but hopefully soon enough I'll take a few out of that handful!

Sorry about no post yesterday, but I was busy and feeling horible. I hope this one was enjoyable!
