Braids and a...Sexual Cat?

Today I wanted to post a review of John Green's newest book The Fault in Our Stars, but I want to make sure that when I write it I do justice to the book and to my feelings about it. Reviews are one things I do not like rushing just to get them out, especially when the book I've read effects me the way this one has.

So, instead of a book review I think I'm going to do a hair post!
My hair is naturally dirty blonde, but not the nice dirty blonde that looks light brown. My blonde is extremely ashy and needed bleach highlights to look semi nice. I haven't been blonde in quite a while now and I don't ever see myself being blonde again unless I can't afford coloring.

I've done a ton of stuff to my hair. I've had red tips and random color streaks. My hair has been blonde, brown, reddish, and brown with an eggplant hue. It's been almost to my butt, cut up above my chin, shoulder length, and lengths in between. Basically I will do almost anything to my hair because I know that it will grow back. I believe that a hair style and color are the easiest ways to "reinvent" your look.

I'm getting my hair done this Wednesday and am kind of confused with what I want. I really think I want to keep my hair long so I can try out a bunch of the fabulous braided hairstyles that are floating around other blogs and Pintrest. I can also show you guys my super fails with trying these hairstyles. For some reason I can't master the easiest hairstyles (like milk made braids or the beehive + braids).

I want to say that my hair is going to end up reddish and transferring into brown. I also think that I'm going to get a "peacock" under coloring. My hair stylist and I love putting in unnatural hair colors in fun ways. When we use "peacock" colors it is normally purple, blue, and green. I think today or tomorrow I'm going to attempt to do something fun with my nails...so look forward to that epic fail!
