So, this is an "I CAN'T SLEEP I'M EXCITED FOR THE BRAVES WITH MY DAD - DAD/DAUGHTER DAY - MY PILLS KEEP ME UP" post: it comes in 2-ish parts!

I'm begging you....for mercy?

So, normally my posts are pretty bubbly..but it's really time to be honest. With 29 days to go until my surgery I need to write this a) for me to remember how much the hip replacement improved my life and b) for you all to truly understand what I go through on a daily basis..

So, I've realized lately how lazy I've become. I rarely update this thing, even though I have plenty o time. I think the reason I don't update all the time is because I find my day to day life boring. Like, take today:

I woke up late and had to move my chiropractor appointment. I then ate a smartones egg mcmuffin thing and took a shower. I then received a call saying my chiropractor had to take care of his kids because his wife was sick and I didn't need to come in. After that I watched a few dvr'd programs and surfed the web. I had chinese for dinner, got froyo with my mom, and read a little. In the middle of reading I feel asleep for 2 hours. Now I'm here..

See. Lame.

But no excuses. I am almost a month away from my surgery date (I'm sure my life will be more interesting when dealing with a new scar/robotic hip).  I'll update more. I'll take more photos. I'll go to the gym. I'll continue making decorations/goodies for my Hip-ster party. I'll love you?

I'm having a Hip-ster party to celebrate my robo hip. Yup, I'm talking about a theme party...theme being hipster...there might be mustaches and mason jars...

So, if I know you and you know me and you're a facebook friend you're most likely invited. And if you fall under those categories and you don't have a facebook invite, you're invited, but the event didn't show me all my friends..so I might not know you're missing. Aka add yourself to the event. Please. Thank you.

Hip Hop, Hip A Hippy

I had a huge blog post with a ton of pictures planned...but I'm pooped, so instead I'm going to do a semi awesome post with something that might make you all understand why I need a hip replacement.
