Yup. I played the word Jibs. They said I played Greys. Either way I got 129 points and am pwning my cousina. Enjoying it Liz? Yeah.
So over the past..weekish I've been dieting and exercising. Well..that's a lie. This past weekend was very tough for me. I couldn't keep my mind off of the fact that I should've had surgery on Friday and that I should've been in the hospital this weekend. So, I didn't exercise. I didn't diet. I ate out...a lot.
But, that was this past weekend.
Monday started hardcore Jessica diet and exercise until she is 20 pounds lighter and has more metal in her body.
Over the past two days I haven't eaten out or had any fried food. I also started riding my recumbent bicycle while watching episodes of The Tudors.
I rode 8 miles in about 55 minutes. I also burned 197.2 calories (or so says my bicycle's computer). The bike is right smack dab in the middle of the bonus room that my mom uses for her sewing. Yay.
I haven't really done much else over the past few days since I updated last. I had dinner at the Simunek's on Saturday (they made my favorite dessert). I've finished another book, The Incident of the Dog in the Night Time. It's about a boy in England who is autistic and tries to solve the murder of his neighbor's dog. It was lovely. I highly suggest reading it, especially if you enjoy quirky books. One of the quotes from newspapers praising it said it was a bit like The Catcher in the Rye and I have to agree. There are quite a few similarities between the two.
I went back to the second hand bookshop called Books For Less, mostly because there is a tall boy who works there that I think is rather cute.....
I guess that's all I got for you all this time. Hopefully my life will be a bit more interesting in the coming days!
Quarterback.
Jessica
hip hip hooray for cute boys who work in bookshops. :)
ReplyDeleteWow...you're working out like a fiend! You'll have new metal in no time. I LOVED that book too (I had to read it in high school). It's very quirky but a lot lighter than catcher in the rye I think. I love the pictures and diagrams he draws throughout the book. Hang in there, you're doing great!!

Hang in there Jess. You are doing really well. Make sure you don't give yourself too hard a time if you eat lots now and again. I've been out to lunch today and had sticky toffee pudding. A few weeks ago I vowed NO MORE PUDDINGS UNTIL AFTER MY OP maybe that's not possible!! I won't spoil the memory of that pudding with regret. However I will keep trying and have given up sugar in my tea sucessfully. It isn't an easy path this weight loss and we are at a massive disadvantage if we're not so mobile either. I hope you don't have to wait too long for your op. I've got a date in October -but until it happens I wont quite believe it. With a cancelled op it's a bit like living a parallel life. This is what I am doing and this is what I might have been doing. It is a bit surreal especially for the first few weeks - I think I've readjusted back now mostly.
ReplyDeleteAll the best. Gizmo
